This final assessment enables you to draw on what you have learnt on the Managing People Program and your own experience within your organisation. You should draw on the ideas covered over the four courses, your own personal practice in the workplace and the wider reading you have done around the subject. You may also find it helpful to refer to the assignments you submitted for peer-review on the Program.
Please note, there are only 100 spaces available on this course and these will be allocated on a first-come, first-serve basis. However, we are planning to run this program again soon so please keep checking the Program page for future dates.
About the assessment course
You will produce a written assignment (maximum 1500 words excluding a list of references) to propose a set of changes you believe would lead to better engagement of your workforce. These changes could relate to your own personal practice, your team, or the wider organisation. You should justify your proposal and explain the challenges you are likely to face in making the changes.
You response to the assessment will be marked by the Henley Business School at the University of Reading. You will be assessed and given individualised, written feedback on:
- The extent to which underlying concepts covered in the course have been applied to address observed issues in the work place
- The rigour of the critical analysis
- The extent to which ideas and findings are presented in a structured and logical manner
Whilst quality of English is not an assessment criteria, your level of written English must be sufficient as your work will be assessed at the level expected of a 2nd year undergraduate at a UK University.
The assessment course starts on 3 February 2020. The deadline for submitting your assignment is 23:59 (UTC) on 15 March 2020. You will receive feedback by 23:59 (UTC) on 3 April 2020.
